Alexa has gained a lot of experience in holding spaces through weekly classes, workshops, day retreats and longer retreats over the past five years. The practices of yoga and mindfulness have been deeply rooted in her daily life for over ten years. With a background in dance and other forms of movement, her asana practice has helped her dive deeper into the realms of the body and mind. Over the years she has studied and integrated a lot of knowledge through her trainings in MBSR, Western psychology, yin yoga and sound, sound massage and trauma sensitive yoga. She creates spaces where you can get in contact with the present through your body and mind, with acceptance and softness.

“Alexa is one of the most polarized people I’ve ever met. She is the best yin yoga teacher. When she plays the singing bowls, I can feel the energy going through my body.”
“I really like the way you combine dance, meditation and yoga.”
“What was most impressive to me is how these little slow movements can strengthen your body so much but in such a different way than the classic strength training.”
“I love your voice, your calmness and your bubbly existence.”
“You have managed to make everyone feel at ease with the space you have created. That is a wonderful gift.”
“We were able to get to know you as a person, not just as a teacher. There was a lot of lightness, ease, openness and positivity. Merci, you are so enthusiastic and supportive!”

Testimonials
“Such great energy! Thank you.”
“I was very touched by the calmness and experience you brought in. I found it incredibly exciting how open you are with people and that you very actively radiate your positive philosophy of life.”
“I learned so much from you…I loved the cacao ceremonies, getting to know a whole different aspect of mindfulness, gratefulness, and the background and origin of cacao. I always struggled with journaling and never knew how to address it. Your journaling classes took away the pressure that it has to look good or be of ‘good’ content. It opened the door for me and taught me not to think about it too much and just write down what I think at the moment without any judgment.”
“Such a pleasure to see you again and to reconnect with your storytelling approach which always triggers positive and creative images. Today I came across the word ‘glimmer’ which is the opposite of a trigger, glimmers are the moments in your day that make you feel joy!”
“Even though I always have a bit of difficulty engaging with spirituality, you have managed to give me a more relaxed, playful and individual approach to it. I really enjoyed and benefited from the writing sessions. Since then, I have returned to my diary more often—though I still only do that when I'm feeling bad or when I'm dealing with problems...”
“Em is a very special and beautiful person. She guided us through the cacao ceremony and the history with all of her heart. She gave me the feeling of being safe and welcomed.”

We thank and are grateful to:
Alexa: My parents and my family who always supported me in everything I wanted to do, this is not self-evident at all. For all the people and teachers that crossed my way and that I could learn so much from, deep and unconditional gratitude. To all the students that joined my classes, workshops and retreats, it’s always a giving and receiving from both sides and I love being able to learn from you—I’m so thankful for every single one! I am grateful for nature, to learn from nature, to be guided and endlessly inspired.
Em: The teachers I’ve met along the way for yoga, Thai massage, hilot, reiki, tai chi, somatics, meditation and mindfulness and my peers, fellow students, and participants from whom I’ve also learned so much. I’m thankful for my various lineages—ancestral, chosen, given, inherited, and restored. I am very grateful for the teachings of cacao and other plants, the animals, the elements, and our other relatives.
We thank Aurelia Egli, Bernd Ott, Muriel Rieben and Tiffany Peyrel for the photos, and Tonia Erismann for our logo, branding, and visual language.
